Perhaps even when it was just re-furbished? It's a very nice place and a worthy edition to Downtown Indy.
Thanks for visiting my own virtual space... and sharing it.
edEd Newmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12703797864648081829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9146215066182995239.post-24343580129356859172010-02-16T09:14:12.874-06:002010-02-16T09:14:12.874-06:00Thanks for this update! Just making a funny.

Airports are international intersections (some more than others) and that's cool about your dad's matchbook collection... and simultaneously sad. I wonder what you could fetch for that today on eBay.

Thanks for the note...
edEd Newmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12703797864648081829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9146215066182995239.post-40923067313627297262010-02-14T13:53:30.960-06:002010-02-14T13:53:30.960-06:00:-))) "Un certain vieil homme"... you to...:-))) "Un certain vieil homme"... you totally made that up!! We'll cross the fingers for them.
I love airports, at least it used to be magical. My dad worked at the Geneva airport when I was little. He made the most original collection: he collected the colorful matchbooks worldtravelers would leave behind in bars and restaurants at the airport. At this time, *everybody* smoked, right? They were beautiful, a true journey through the world of the 60's and 70's. Shame on my parents, they threw it away a few years ago.
SophieUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08204268951580459610noreply@blogger.com
