~ Journal entry, Sept. 11, 2001I thought it might make an interesting blog entry to look back at my journal to see what I wrote that tragic morning when the towers fell. The note above was penned a little over two hours before the first plane hit. I’ve not looked back on this entry till now, and it’s uncanny what a prescient note is sounded in these words.
The events of 9-11 remind us that we live in a broken world. As Robert Burns once observed, “Man’s inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn.”
Rather than post more words, let’s pause for a moment of silence and remembrance.
