Every picture tells a story.

Almost Wordless Wednesday: Every Picture Tells A Story

Lots of half written blog posts falling between the cracks.
Here are a few photos to fill in for a day.

Ed's famous one-egg omelet: Irish cheese, brat, onion, mushrooms
"How high's the snow drift, mama?"
"It's a-six feet high and risin'"
Collaboration: Susan Laing, Dream AI and myself.
Yes, that's C, S & N.

In college I got it into my head that each new painting I did should be the most important work of my life. That's a pretty high bar to set for oneself. This puts a lot of pressure on you, A Nobel prize winning author once noted that one is not obligated to record only important things in their journals, and I would say the same for blogging.

Almost Wordless Wednesday: Reiman Gardens in the Spring

Over the Easter weekend we were in Ames, Iowa to visit family.
On Monday we visited Reiman Gardens on the campus of Iowa State U.

No roller coasters, but there were butterflies galore in the "butterfly room."
I'm sure the algae will be cleaned up by the time you get here.
Wally!
There were kaleidoscopes set up to look at the little flowers!
Elwood, the World's Largest Cement Gnome.

Elwood used to be the world's largest gnome statue.
Today, he is the world's largest cement gnome statue.
My daughter Christina, mom and crossword puzzle-maker,
with our two grandchildren, Lena and Wally.

Flowers, gardens, butterflies, sunshine
and a place to make memories with loved ones.
